EL CENTRO, CA – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Bowker Road and East Evan Hewes Highway

Morning Two-Car Wreck on Bowker Road in El Centro Leaves One Motorist Injured

 
EL CENTRO, CA (January 8, 2019) – One person was injured following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in El Centro, CHP officials said.
 
The crash happened around 7:34 p.m. at the intersection of Bowker Road and East Evan Hewes Highway.
 
According to an initial report by the California Highway Patrol, a black Volkswagen Passat and another vehicle collided for unknown reasons.
 
One of the drivers sustained injuries from the crash, but the extent was not immediately known. The patient was taken by ambulance to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
The Volkswagen was towed away from the wreckage.
 
There were no official reports stating how the crash exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the incident to determine the factors involved and liability.
