Manjit Samra Struck Edwin Medina-Corona in Stanislaus Motorcycle Accident
Stanislaus, CA (October 27, 2020) – On Saturday, 21-year-old motorcyclist Edwin Medina-Corona from Hickman died, while 67-year-old Manjit Samra of Turlock was involved in the motorcycle crash.
The Stanislaus Crash occurred on East Whitmore Avenue and Baldwin Road.
The incident occurred at about 6:25 p.m. west of Hughson.
The motorcyclist was riding a 2020 Kawasaki motorcycle on East Whitmore Avenue, approaching Baldwin Road.
At the same time, Samra was traveling eastbound on East Whitmore Avenue in a 2000 Toyota and failed to yield right of way as he turned left onto Baldwin Road.
As a result, the motorcyclist hit the right rear of the Toyota. He was ejected from the motorcycle and struck the roadway. The authorities pronounced him dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the authorities withheld the deceased’s information pending notification of the family.
No other injuries were reported in this incident.
