Driver Arrested and Passenger Injured in DUI Crash on Silverado Trail near Clover Flat Road
CALISTOGA, CA (August 9, 2019) – Authorities arrested 23-year-old Dustyn Neale of Lakeport after a DUI crash on Silverado Trail, Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Clover Flat Road. A 2019 Nissan was heading north on Silverado Trail at an unsafe speed when it veered off the east side and crashed into a dirt embankment.
Emergency responders transported Neale and his passenger, 42-year-old Tyler Black of Lakeport, to Queen of the Valley Medical Center. Neale suffered minor injuries, while Black sustained major injuries in the crash.
Authorities later arrested Neale on suspicion of two felony charges related to driving under the influence.
