1 House Caught Fire on Freya and Euclid after Car Accident in East Spokane
Spokane, Washington (April 03, 2020) – A 24-year old driver was arrested after a car crash on Freya and Euclid that sent one vehicle into a house, which then caught on fire.
Spokane Police reported that they responded to the incident Tuesday night.
The 2-car crash caused one vehicle to hit a home, which later became engulfed in flames.
Emergency responders took the drivers and passengers involved away from the scene before the fire could hurt them.
Firefighters then controlled the incident and put the fire out.
Officials later identified the driver of the second car as Duston Wulff, a 24-year-old man.
According to the Spokane Police, Wulff tried to flee from the crash incident on foot.
Nevertheless, police caught him a few blocks away.
He was found to be heavily intoxicated and was arrested immediately.
Further in the report, it stated that Wulff will be charged for felony hit-and-run and vehicular assault.
In the end, it was revealed that he was also convicted for a DUI in 2019.
