Two Dead in Head-On Crash in Dulzura

 
DULZURA, CA (December 26, 2018) – Two people perished Thursday night following a head-on collision along Highway 94 near Highway 188.
 
According to witnesses, a female driver operating a Ford Fusion was heading eastbound and driving recklessly just before it crossed over the double yellow lines and plowed into a westbound Honda Accord. Both drivers of their respective vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Footage of the scene showed both vehicles with significant front-end damage.
 
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and are asking the public to come forward if they have any more insight.
