Possible DUI Crash in Richmond District Kills 1, Injures 2
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 25, 2019) – A fatal crash in Richmond District early Monday morning left one person dead and two others injured.
The police said callers reported the crash at about 3:00 a.m. at Park Presidio Boulevard and California Street. It involved a Nissan sedan and a Chevrolet truck.
The driver of the Nissan, who was not yet identified, died at the scene.
On the other hand, the 39-year-old San Jose man driving the Chevy and his 26-year-old male passenger were both taken to a hospital. Officials described their injuries as non-life-threatening.
The police said impairment was a possible factor in the crash. However, they did not say which of the two drivers was impaired at the time of the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
