Woman Arrested After Striking Patrol Car in Kent
KENT, WA (March 12, 2019) – A police officer’s car sustained damage after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on 111th Place Southeast near Southeast 274th Street Saturday.
The 22-year-old woman placed into custody struck and damaged the patrol vehicle around 8:30 p.m.
However, prior to that, a resident reported that his or her car had been struck. The vehicle was hit by a hit-and-run driver in the 27200 block of 111th Place Southeast. At the time the officer responded, his patrol vehicle sustained damaged.
In addition, the officer was investigating an incident at the time his car was struck.
Subsequently, the officer chased down the driver and placed the 22-year-old woman under arrest.
Police are still investigating the original hit-and-run. The officer involved sustained no injuries, according to reports.
