Drunk Man Fatally Struck by Car on Highway 94 at Bancroft Drive [SPRING VALLEY, CA]

Deadly Pedestrian Crash on Highway 94 in Spring Valley

 
SPRING VALLEY, CA (October 27, 2019) – A drunk pedestrian was fatally struck by a car early Sunday morning in Spring Valley.
 
The crash happened around 12:43 a.m. on Highway 94 at Bancroft Drive.
 
A friend of the victim reported the accident. He said his drunk friend got out of the vehicle and was trying to walk across the highway. That was when a westbound Toyota Prius hit him.
 
Firefighters arrived and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
The driver of the Prius stayed and cooperated with authorities.
 
CHP officials closed the westbound lanes of the highway while they investigated the incident.
