2-Car Crash at South Rancho Santa Fe Road in San Marco
SAN MARCOS, CA (December 31, 2019) — A two-vehicle crash Sunday night at South Rancho Santa Fe Road and Boulderidge Drive left two drivers injured.
According to San Diego County Sheriff’s Sgt. Nicholas Maryn, the incident took place around 8:20 p.m.
Investigators determined that one car was traveling northbound through the intersection when it collided with a southbound vehicle.
Authorities say the southbound driver was attempting a left turn onto Boulderidge Drive when the impact occurred.
As a result, both drivers sustained serious injuries.
Furthermore, intoxication does not appear to be an influence of the crash, but authorities are continuing their investigation to learn more.
