Drivers Die in Head-On Crash on Cajon Boulevard [San Bernardino, CA]

San Bernardino, CA (October 15, 2024) – Two drivers lost their lives following a head-on crash on Cajon Boulevard early Sunday morning.

It was about 1:22 a.m. when the two-vehicle crash happened near Mathews Ranch Road.

According to the investigating officers, a silver Toyota GR86 sports car and a black Chevrolet Malibu sedan were both occupied by two people when the collision happened.

Firefighters provided first aid to all four occupants, however, the Chevy driver succumbed to their injuries. 

The Toyota driver was provided CPR and was also taken by ambulance to a hospital but died.

Moreover, the rescuers took the two passengers in both vehicles to hospitals. The Chevy’s passenger was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center while the Toyota’s passenger was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

There is limited information at this time and the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office, will conduct a further investigation.
