Man Hospitalized Following Highway 79 Crash in Warner Springs
WARNER SPRINGS, CA (July 10, 2019) – A man suffered major injuries Monday when his Freightliner tipped over and crashed along Highway 79 near Fink Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 61-year-old Imperial Beach man lost control of his southbound Freightliner on a curve just north of Fink Road. The afternoon crash caused his vehicle to tip over onto its side and spill its load of concrete.
Paramedics arrived shortly after and transported him to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido for non-life-threatening injuries.
It’s unclear what caused the crash, but investigators are looking further into possibilities.
