Honda Driver Injured in Wrong-Way Collision on Highway 50 [Sacramento, CA]

Sacramento, CA (September 23, 2023) – On Friday morning, a Honda driver sustained injuries following a wrong-way collision on Highway 50.

The traffic accident happened east of Fifth Street.

Officers said a 27-year-old woman driving a Nissan SUV driver was traveling westbound on the eastbound No. 1 lane.

At the same time, the driver of a Honda sedan was driving eastbound.

The two vehicles collided head-on which resulted in major injuries to the Honda driver.

The authorities arrested the Nissan driver arrested on suspicion of DUI.
