WSP Trooper Kelsey Harding said the driver in the crash was in the back of the patrol car to get out of the weather and stay warm. Then, the WSP patrol vehicle was rear-ended while blocking the left lane.

Harding added that there is a possible injury to the driver that was inside the trooper’s car.
