Streets Blocked after Major Injury Crash on Ventura Avenue and First Street

 
Fresno, CA (February 12, 2021) – A multi-vehicle crash on Ventura Avenue and First Street left one driver with serious injuries on Thursday afternoon.
 
The incident happened on February 11 at about 3 p.m. in the area of Ventura Avenue and First Street.
 
Fresno police responded to the scene after receiving reports of a collision involving three vehicles. According to the report, the impact of the crash damaged a van and a sedan in the intersection. Furthermore, the crash sent an SUV flying in front of a nearby home.
 
As a result, the SUV driver sustained major injuries.
 
Officers also reported that some drivers and passengers in the vehicles involved sustained minor injuries and were being treated.
 
The collision prompted officers to block Ventura from First Street to Second Street as they clear the scene.
