Woman Hospitalized Following Rollover Crash on Highway 1 in Nipomo
NIPOMO, CA (July 17, 2019) – A single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 1 near Oso Flaco Lake Road Tuesday left a woman with injuries.
According to reports, the crash happened around 6:30 a.m. just north of Guadalupe.
According to the Guadalupe Fire Department, a driver of a black Honda sedan overturned for unknown reasons and crashed on the side of the highway. Witnesses at the scene stopped to help her out of the wreckage before paramedics arrived and brought her to Marian Regional Hospital.
According to authorities, heavy fog conditions were present at the time and may have been a factor in the collision. The driver reportedly flipped three times before landing in a farm field and nearly dodging a telephone pole.
At this time, the California Highway Patrol is investigating the solo-car accident.
