1 Hurt in Santa Rosa Racing Accident on Highway 12 and Calistoga Road

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (November 10, 2022) – Early Wednesday morning, a driver sustained injuries following a racing crash on Highway 12 and Calistoga Road.
 
The incident happened at around 12:43 a.m. on westbound State Highway 12 and Calistoga Road.
 
According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, a black Infiniti traveling at a high rate of speed and racing a second vehicle lost control. Then, the vehicle struck the center median and continued across the number 1 and 2 westbound lanes before colliding with several trees and landscaping and came to rest in the Safeway parking lot.
 
Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated the driver of the vehicle trapped inside the wreckage. Then, paramedics transported the driver to a local hospital with major injuries.
 
Meanwhile, officers asked anyone with information about the crash to call SRPD Officer Ken Ferrigno at 707-543-3636.
