FRESNO, CA (March 4, 2021) – Wednesday morning, a driver suffered injuries in a fiery crash on G Street and Ventura Street.
 
The incident occurred at about 5:00 a.m. on G Street, south of Ventura Street.
 
According to the police, a pickup drove off the road, collided with a pole, and caused a transformer to fall. Then, the transformer sparked a fire that engulfed the vehicle.
 
Authorities confirmed that the driver and a passenger managed to get out of the pickup. Responders then took the driver to the hospital.
 
At this time, the driver and the passenger’s condition remains unknown.
 
Due to limited information, the crash remains under active investigation.
