James Finch Hospitalized, Frances Finch Dead in Napa Fatal Car Accident
Napa, CA (November 22, 2020) – On Saturday, 35-year-old Frances Finch died, while 37-year-old James Finch, also of Napa, was hospitalized in a vehicle crash on Monticello Road.
The fatal Napa County crash happened at about 9:20 p.m. when a female driver of a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle crashed with a 2009 Chevrolet Corvette in the intersection with Trancas Street.
Rescuers rushed the female driver to Queen of the Valley Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the authorities took James Finch, the passenger in the woman’s Chevelle, to the Queen with what CHP described as major injuries.
Furthermore, police said the Chevelle was traveling west on Monticello Road.
At the same time, Rubens Araujo, a 39-year-old from Rancho Cordova, drove the Corvette east on Trancas Street.
The woman then lost control of her car which crossed a dirt median.
As a result, the right side of the Chevelle crashed with the front of the Corvette.
Araujo incurred minor injuries in the crash, while his female passenger did not incur injuries.
Furthermore, CHP’s Napa bureau is investigating the Napa accident. Please call 707-253-4906 if you have details about the incident.
