Woman Killed in Tulare Traffic Accident on Highway 198 near Road 182

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (November 6, 2022) – Late Friday night, a driver died in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 198 near Road 182.
 
The incident happened at around 11:00 p.m. on Highway 198 near Road 182.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, an unidentified vehicle traveling recklessly rear-ended a Subaru Forester. Then, the reckless vehicle continued traveling across the center median where it collided with a Ford Fusion.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the female reckless driver who was not wearing a seatbelt, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported a Ford driver to Kaweah health medical center with moderate injuries. The Subaru driver suffered no injuries in the collision.
 
Furthermore, the incident closed Highway 198 in both directions but has long since reopened.
 
Meanwhile, the fatal crash remained under investigation.
