Driver Plows Into Oakland Church, Patrol Car Struck by Driver in Oakland
OAKLAND, CA (July 11, 2019) – A local Baptist church sustained damage when a driver plowed into it at 98th and Walter avenues Tuesday night.
Authorities are boggled as to what caused a driver to plow into the Grace Baptist Church located at Walter and 98th avenues.
Reports say the driver was taken to a hospital, but officials did not release his or her condition.
Shortly after, an officer’s car blocking off the street following the accident sustained damage when a red vehicle struck it under unknown circumstances.
Paramedics arrived and assisted the officer. However, details did not specify whether the police officer sustained any injuries.
Investigators are seeking the causes of both accidents and are urging witnesses to come forward with information.
