Police Investigate a Three-Vehicle DUI Crash on Main Street in Morro Bay

Morro Bay, CA (October 22, 2021) – Friday evening, Morro Bay police investigated a three-vehicle DUI crash on Main Street.

The crash in Morro Bay happened at around 5:17 p.m. on October 22 at the northbound offramp for Highway 1.

Morro Bay police said a 22-year-old man exited the highway traveling at speeds too fast for the wet roads after a light rain. He then failed to stop for the posted stop sign and crashed into another car driving south on Main Street.

Moreover, the collision caused the second vehicle to spin out of control and strike a third car traveling north on Main Street.

No significant injuries were reported in this incident.

Subsequently, police arrested the 22-year-old man for DUI.
