Officers Detain DUI Driver on Milpas Street Crash

 
Santa Barbara, CA (March 05, 2021) – On Wednesday, authorities arrested a driver in a DUI crash on Milpas Street.
 
The suspect struck another vehicle and drove off.
 
Right away, officers started a chase Goleta near Costco and chased down Highway 101.
 
Later on, the vehicle got off the freeway and stopped near the intersection of Milpas Street and Cacique Street.
 
Furthermore, authorities said there was a scent of alcohol on the suspect. Additionally, a reporter on the scene said the driver refused to be arrested.
 
Officers finally detained the suspect.
 
Luckily, no injuries were reported in the incident.
