Donald Weber Strikes, Kills Pedestrian on 215 Freeway Near West 9th Street
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (March 7, 2019) – A 39-year-old Lake Elsinore man died after being hit by a vehicle on the 215 Freeway near West 9th Street Wednesday.
The victim has yet to be identified by the coroner’s office. However, according to reports, the man suffered fatal injuries around 3:11 a.m. when a southbound 2005 Chevrolet Express struck him.
The pedestrian died as a result of his severe injuries and his identity will be released once his family has been notified.
Donald Webber, the 49-year-old San Bernardino man operating the Chevrolet, stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
Although police made no arrests, investigators are looking further into this case.
