Donald Trout Fatally Struck in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident
BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 29, 2019) — A 44-year-old man identified as Donald Glen Trout died in a pedestrian crash on Monday, August 26.
The accident occurred at 9:31 p.m. in the 2600 block of Haley Street near Height Street.
According to witnesses, Trout appeared to have been outside a crosswalk at the time of the incident.
The driver involved in the crash stayed at the scene. BPD said the driver cooperated with the investigation.
Drugs, alcohol, and speed do not appear to have played a role in the incident. However, the investigation is ongoing.
