Domingo Maldonado Hospitalized in Highway 97 Vehicle Collision [Orondo, WA]

Orondo, WA (June 11, 2022) – On Friday, Domingo Maldonado, 51, of Orondo, sustained injuries in a vehicle crash on Highway 97.

The traffic collision happened at 5:30 a.m. at Brays Landing Road.

According to the authorities, Maria Chavez, 43, of Orondo, was driving a 2004 Nissan Murano. She pulled off Brays Landing Road onto the highway. However, she failed to yield to a 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Maldonado.

The paramedics took both Domingo Maldonado and Maria Chavez to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee with minor injuries.

Meanwhile, the authorities closed about seven miles north of Orondo for a couple of hours while they investigated.
