BRAWLEY, CA (March 26, 2024) – Monday morning, authorities reported injuries following a disastrous single-vehicle crash on Highway 86 near Austin Road.

The incident happened on southbound Highway 86 near Austin Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle lost control and crashed for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle erupted into flames from the bottom.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that minor injuries were sustained in the crash.

Furthermore, the incident closed a part of southbound Highway 86 but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
