1 Person Hospitalized in Apple Valley Auto Accident on Interstate 15 near Wild Wash Road

APPLE VALLEY, CA (December 14, 2023) – Wednesday night, a disastrous semi tractor crash on Interstate 15 near Wild Wash Road injured one person.

The incident happened at around 7:03 p.m. on northbound Interstate 15, just before the Wild Wash Road exit.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a semi rear-ended another semi-tractor trailer that had a blowout and became disabled in the slow lane.

Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated the driver of the first semi who was trapped inside the wreckage. Then, Reach Air Medical helicopter #13 airlifted the driver to Loma Linda University Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, the crash and debris at the scene closed the #2 and #3 lane of northbound Interstate 15.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
