4 People Hurt in San Diego Traffic Accident on State Route 94 and State Route 15
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 18, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a disastrous police chase crash on State Route 94 and State Route 15 injured four people.
The incident happened at around 4:05 a.m. on State Route 94 and State Route 15.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Toyota Prius with an active planned non-operation status on file, ran a stop sign, made a U-turn onto the cloverleaf on-ramp, and re-entered SR-94 westbound. Then, CHP broadcasted a failure to yield and started a pursuit against the Toyota.
Moreover, the Toyota collided with a silver Nissan Altima after attempting to drive the wrong way on SR-94 westbound. Then, the driver of the Toyota fled the scene on foot after the crash and remained at large.
Furthermore, responders transported four people to a hospital with minor injuries.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
