SANTA ANA, CA (April 3, 2023) – Sunday morning, a person died in a disastrous hit-and-run accident on St Gertrude Place.

The incident happened at around 2:00 a.m. at 500 W. St Gertrude Place.

According to reports, a westbound vehicle struck two pedestrians who were standing next to a vehicle.

Then, the suspect vehicle fled the scene after the crash.

Moreover, responders rushed the two pedestrians to a hospital where one of the patients was pronounced dead.

Furthermore, officers confirmed that the only description of the suspect vehicle was it was an SUV.
