Disastrous 2-Car Crash on 135th Street Kills Motorist [Gardena, CA]

Gardena, CA (June 10, 2023) On Friday evening, a motorist died after a 2-car crash on 135th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard.

According to the Gardena PD, the fatal traffic collision happened around 7:55 p.m. at the Gardena intersection.

Reports say that the major collision involved a black Mercedes-Benz and a white Kia. Officials say that the northbound Kia was traveling at high speed before colliding with the Mercedes, which was stopped at a traffic signal.

Authorities pronounced the Kia driver, dead at the hospital. Meanwhile, the Mercedes driver was also transported to a hospital and their condition is currently unknown.

Gardena police is investigating the fatal traffic collision, and have not released additional information at this time.
