Dillon Ruffcorn Hospitalized in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 509 Near South Cloverdale Street
SEATTLE, WA (April 25, 2019) – A pedestrian was hit and injured by a bus on Highway 509 near South Cloverdale Street.
According to reports, Dillon J. Ruffcorn suffered critical injuries after a King County Metro bus struck him around 8:40 a.m.
Washington State Troopers and paramedics responded to find the seriously injured victim in the northbound lanes.
Although alive, Ruffcorn, of Kelso, required further treatment at Harborview Medical Center due to his critical condition.
According to Kristin Tinsley of the Seattle Fire Department, two other cars might have struck the 35-year-old pedestrian.
Reports say neither the passengers nor the driver sustained any injuries. Officials plan to investigate further to determine the cause and circumstances.
