Diem Tran of San Jose Dies in Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 [San Jose, CA]

San Jose, Ca (December 10, 2021) – Earlier today, 44-year-old Diem Tran of San Jose died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 101.

The fatal crash happened at about 9:30 a.m. on southbound freeway, north of the Julian Street and McKee Road.

Apparently, a 19-year-old man was driving a 1999 Toyota Camry at a high rate of speed when he suddenly lost control of the vehicle.

The driver swerved into the fourth lane and collided into a 2006 Honda Odyssey driven by Tran. The van then crashed with a tree on the right shoulder.

Unfortunately, Tran lost her life at the crash scene.

Meanwhile, the investigators don’t believe that alcohol or drugs were factors in the fatal crash.
