Cadillac Driver Diana Burleson Dies in FM 2549 Vehicle Crash [Robertson County, TX]

Robertson County, TX (August 17, 2024) – A Cadillac driver, Diana Burleson, 66, of Franklin, was killed in an FM 2549 vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon.

It was before 4 p.m. when the fatal crash happened on Highway 6.

According to the investigating officers, a pickup truck towing a trailer was stopped on FM 2549 and was about to turn north on Highway 6 when it struck a Cadillac.

After the pickup truck has hit the Cadillac, that vehicle then struck a Kia Soul and spun into the southbound lanes, striking an 18-wheeler head-on.

Sadly, Diana Burleson, was declared deceased at the crash scene. 

Meanwhile, the Kia Soul driver, a 10-year-old passenger, and the 18-wheeler driver, were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Texas DPS is investigating the fatal collision.
