PHOENIX, AZ (July 9, 2023) – Saturday morning, a devastating plane crash on Auld Road and Briggs Road killed 6 people.

The crash involving a Cessna business jet occurred at 4:15 a.m. on Auld Road and Briggs Road.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, they located the aircraft fully engulfed in flames in a field. Then, they declared six occupants dead at the scene.

At 5:35 a.m., firefighters managed to extinguish the fire.

According to FAA spokesperson Mina Kaji, the plane departed from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.

Reports confirmed that the incident marked the second fatal crash near French Valley Airport in less than a week.
