The incident happened at around 12:30 a.m. on College Avenue and Federal Boulevard.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, a white pickup truck struck a male pedestrian on southbound College Avenue. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
