Woman Arrested in Pittsburg Pedestrian Accident on 1200 Railroad Avenue

PITTSBURG, CA (January 8, 2024) – Saturday, a devastating hit-and-run crash on 1200 Railroad Avenue killed 1 person.

Reports revealed that a pedestrian was down in the road in the 1200 block of Railroad Avenue.

When the authorities arrived, they found a 36-year-old man with major injuries. Then, the medical personnel immediately provided aid. Unfortunately, the man was declared dead en route to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the investigation revealed that a vehicle struck the victim. Then, the driver of the vehicle escaped the scene.

Also, officers managed to identify the vehicle that hit the victim. They confirmed that the said driver was a 42-year-old woman from Pittsburg.

Then, officers booked and transported the suspect to the Martinez Detention Facility.
