4-Vehicle Crash in Carson Damages Sheriff’s Vehicle

 
CARSON, CA (July 8, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash near Carson Street and Avalon Boulevard left a Sheriff’s vehicle damaged Saturday night.
 
Officials said the incident occurred near the intersection of East Carson Street and South Avalon Boulevard at about 6:07 p.m. In addition, it involved a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department vehicle. However a United States Postal Service mail truck and two other vehicles also crashed.
 
Whether any deputy sustained injuries in the crash was not clear. However, the sheriff’s vehicle, which had notable damage, came to rest on the sidewalk.
 
Police did not release any other information regarding the details of the accident. However, further investigation on this multi-vehicle crash is underway.
