Aliso Viejo Motorcycle Crash Sends Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy to Hospital
ALISO VIEJO, CA (August 28, 2019) – A deputy was hospitalized following a motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon in Aliso Viejo.
The crash happened around 3:25 p.m. near the intersection of Pacific Park Drive and Woodfield.
According to an initial report, an Orange County Sheriff’s Department motorcycle and another vehicle collided for unknown reasons. The deputy riding the motorcycle was knocked unconscious due to the impact.
Arriving paramedics sent the deputy to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the other involved vehicle stayed at the scene, department officials said.
The events that led up to the collision is still under investigation. Authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
