Deadly 2-Car Crash Reported at Gun Club and McCombs Roads [Wasco, CA]

1 Dead, 1 Injured in 2-Vehicle Accident in Wasco

 
WASCO, CA (December 23, 2019) — A 2-car crash at Gun Club and McCombs Road left one person dead and another injured in Wasco.
 
According to reports, the accident took place around 6 a.m., and involved a white truck and one other vehicle. Authorities determined that one of the vehicles blew through the intersection’s stop sign; however, officials are not sure which driver ran it.
 
As a result of the accident, crews closed off the intersection and California Highway Patrol diverted traffic in the area.
 
Police did not release any additional information at this time. However, more investigation regarding the cause and events preceding the accident is underway.
