Police Investigate a Motorcycle Fatal Crash on Florida Avenue in Hemet Intersection

 
Hemet, CA (June 18, 2021) – Friday morning, a motorcyclist David Young, 37-year-old from Hemet died in a crash on Florida Avenue at Girard Street.
 
The fatal crash in Hemet happened at about 6:25 a.m. on June 18.
 
Reportedly, a patrol sergeant spotted Mr. Young going eastbound on Florida Avenue at approximately 75 mph and watched as he continued past Santa Fe Street toward Girard Street.
 
Moreover, the sergeant said Mr. Young run the solid red traffic signal at Florida and Girard, then he collided with a Chevrolet Cruze that was traveling south on Girard on a green light.
 
The victim was then hurled into lanes. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old woman driving the Chevrolet was not injured.
 
Hemet Fire Department paramedics pronounced Mr. Young dead at the scene.
