Skamania County Motorcycle Crash Kills David Yanchuk of Vancouver
Vancouver, WA (May 16, 2021) – On Friday, an 18-year-old Vancouver man, David Yanchuk, died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 14.
The accident happened near milepost 23 in Skamania County.
Yanchuk was westbound on a motorcycle on Highway 14 when he drifted onto the right shoulder to pass a semi-truck driven by 54-year-old Jerry Dillon of Vancouver.
As a result, Yanchuk struck the guardrail and he fell into the road. Then, he was struck by the semi-truck.
Unfortunately, Yanchuk died at the accident scene.
