Hayward, CA (November 16, 2021) – On Saturday, 86-year-old Daoud Marzi of Hayward was fatally struck on Calaroga Avenue.

It was about 4:00 p.m. when the accident happened at the intersection with Southgate Street.

Right away, the emergency responders took Marzi to the hospital, where he later died.

Moreover, the involved vehicle driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the officers’ investigation. The authorities do not consider alcohol as a factor in this crash.
