Dallas, TX (September 25, 2024) – An off-duty Dallas paramedic, Daniela Fonseca, is in critical condition after being T-boned by a hit-and-run driver. 

The crash occurred early Saturday around 6 a.m. at North Carroll and Ross Avenue in Old East Dallas. 

Fonseca was driving her white Scion when the driver of a green SUV collided with her vehicle and fled the scene on foot.

A witness reportedly tried to chase the suspect but was unable to catch him. Fonseca was rushed to Baylor Medical Center, where she remains unconscious. 

Her family, devastated by the incident, is desperate for answers and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
