Daniel Lopez-Beltran and Jesus Sanchez Involved in Rear-End Yountville Accident
Yountville, CA (November 25, 2020) – On Sunday, police arrested 22-year-old Daniel Lopez-Beltran of Napa and 57-year-old Jesus Sanchez of San Pablo in a DUI crash on Highway 29.
The Yountville crash happened at about 10:20 p.m. north of California Drive.
The car driven by Lopez-Beltran was traveling southbound when it struck the rear of a van driven by Sanchez.
The impact pushed the van off the roadway and struck a fence.
Rescuers took Lopez-Beltran to Queen of the Valley Medical Center for sustaining major injuries. His passenger, 19-year-old Carlos Delgado, also of Napa, complained of pain. Rescuers also took him to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Sanchez incurred minor injuries. He also went to the hospital.
Authorities arrested both drivers for investigation of drunk driving (DUI).
Put all distractions away and be careful around other travelers. Above all, never drink and drive.
