Daniel Bugarin Hernandez Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash on Gurdwara Avenue [San Jose, CA]

San Jose, CA (September 30, 2021) – On Tuesday, 16-year-old Daniel Bugarin Hernandez dies, while others were injured in a two-vehicle crash on  Gurdwara Avenue.

The fatal crash took place minutes after 10 p.m. at the intersection with Carrera Court.

Reports said the crash involved two vehicles wherein one struck a tree in the center median.

Hernandez was a passenger in one of the vehicles. Officers pronounced him dead at the accident scene.

Meanwhile, the rescuers rushed the male driver and two other male passengers, all of them juveniles, to a local hospital. Both male passengers sustained life-threatening injuries.

The authorities are still investigating the incident. It was not clear yet if alcohol or drugs played a role in the fatal crash.
