40-Year-Old Daniel Allen Injured in University Avenue Collision [Odessa, TX]

Odessa, TX (January 27, 2024) – 40-year-old Daniel Allen sustained injuries following a University Avenue collision Wednesday.

Investigators said Allen was northbound in a Harley Davidson motorcycle in the 2700 block of North Dixie Boulevard in the area of University Avenue.

At the same time, 22-year-old Paul Anthony Navarrette was southbound in a Dodge Dart on the same road.

Navarrette attempted to turn left into a private driveway and struck Allen.

Officers said Allen was not wearing a helmet when the collision happened. The paramedics rushed him to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, no other injuries have been reported in this collision.

Officers are investigating.
