Female Passenger Injured in Deadly Crash on Highway 26 [Calaveras County, CA]

Driver Killed in Solo-Vehicle Crash near Gold Creek Drive

Calaveras County, CA (September 6, 2024) – A female passenger was injured in a deadly vehicle crash on Highway 26 Thursday afternoon.

The fatal traffic collision happened near Gold Creek Drive, south of Valley Springs.

CHP officers said a vehicle was traveling south on the highway when it veered off the road and struck a tree.

Responding officers declared the male driver deceased while the passenger was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the fatal crash on Highway 26.
