Dane Adkins-Radford and Emily Hale Dead, Jesus Rios Arrested in DUI Accident on Florida Avenue
Hemet, CA (December 13, 2020) – On Saturday, 33-year-old Jesus Rios of Downey was arrested in a fatal DUI crash on Florida Avenue.
Moreover, the fatal rear-end accident took place at about 4 a.m. near Kirby Street.
A Honda Fit hatchback traveling east on Florida Avenuedriven was stopped at a signal at Kirby Street.
Just then, Jesus Ernesto Rios, driving a BMW 535i also traveling east, crashed into the back of the Honda.
Two women from Hemet riding in the rear-ended Honda died, while another passenger, Alyssa Salas also of Hemet, sustained major injuries.
Rios did not get injured from the incident. He attempted to run, but a witness caught him.
Authorities identified the deceased as Emily Hale and Dane Adkins-Radford, both 21.
Police arrested Rios on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter, driving under the influence, and attempted hit and run.
