1 Person Hurt in Dairyville Traffic Accident on Highway 99
DAIRYVILLE, CA (October 12, 2023) – On Wednesday, a crippling two-vehicle crash on Highway 99 injured one person.
The incident happened on Highway 99.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a southbound 2014 Peterbilt delivery truck collided with a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado pickup that was pulling out of Jill’s Market.
As a result, responders transported the 24-year-old male driver of the Silverado pickup truck to a hospital with minor injuries. Also, the 40-year-old male driver of the Peterbilt was not hurt in the crash.
Moreover, the crash blocked the northbound lane of Highway 99, but has long since reopened.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
