YOLO COUNTY, CA (July 4, 2023) – Saturday morning, a crippling single-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 near Mace Boulevard injured 3 people.

The incident happened at around 4:00 a.m. on Interstate 80, east of Mace Boulevard.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2012 Hyundai veered off the roadway for still unknown reasons and struck a sign and a tree.

Moreover, paramedics transported three occupants of the vehicle to UC Davis Medical Center with major injuries.

Furthermore, officers believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
